Joan Onofrey: Reimagination
May 3 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Joan Onofrey is a Needham collage artist and art educator. The world of art has brought Joan on an eclectic journey from apparel design, fashion illustration, graphic design, to art education. Over the past several years, collage has been Joan’s favorite art medium. Sometimes referred to as, “painting with paper,” Joan creates her art with paper, fabric, threads and recycled items along with a whimsical point of view. Her collage mantra is: Reinvent, Repurpose, and Reimagine.
A reception to celebrate the opening of the exhibit will be on May 3, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm, at the Needham History Center. Everyone is welcome to join us! The exhbit will be on view in the Schoolhouse through June.
