Our Mission

The mission of the Needham History Center & Museum is to engage and educate the community about the history of the town and its people, and to preserve the treasures of Needham’s past.  We connect people with history to provide a vital link to the past and context for understanding current issues.

Diversity Statement

Diversity and Inclusion is an ongoing process. We recognize that the history of Needham as it has been documented excludes the stories of many people, and does not faithfully reflect the ethnic and gender diversity of our town’s past and present. The Needham History Center & Museum will continue to seek diversity in its partnerships, listen with respect, and work to fully integrate the contributions of all groups into our narratives.
