Needham is a town that is innovative, but with a strong sense of community.  From dairy farms and schools in the past, to Town Meeting and playgrounds today, we all contribute to this great town and its unique story.

And thanks to your support, the Needham Historical Society can do its part, working together to make our history a part of the current life of our town.

We offer something for all ages:

• Needham’s Walk Through History on a crisp autumn weekend
• Third graders going back in time for the 1850s Schoolhouse Day
• Exhibits such as The History of Needham in 100 Objects – Open NOW
• Lectures, workshops, films, and research

It is YOUR outstanding generosity and support that makes all of these events possible.  We receive no funding from the town or the state – we rely entirely on tax-deductible donations from our Members and Friends.
